FRIDAY NOVEMBER 6 - 7:30 PM

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s… definitely a plane!

After receiving rave reviews and playing to sold out audiences at the 2019 Edmonton Fringe Theatre Festival, The Flying Detective, written by Brent Felzien and presented by Accidental Humour Co., touches down at The Arden Theatre on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 7:30 p.m.

This multimedia theatre piece will dazzle as it transports you back in time to the early days of Alberta’s aviation history. The year is 1919 and a police officer is killed on duty in Edmonton. The murderer, John Larsen, is already on his way to the coal branch near Edson and has a two-day head start on the cunning Detective Campbell. With the help of legendary First World War fighter pilot Wilfred “Wop” May, Detective Campbell may have a chance to catch him. Together, Wop and Campbell take flight to pursue Larsen and bring him to justice.

The Arden Theatre follows provincial guidelines, including physical distancing and limiting audiences to 100 patrons.
