On May 26, 2021, the Government of Alberta announced Alberta’s Open for Summer Plan, which eases restrictions in three stages as vaccination targets are reached and hospitalizations decline. This plan relies on Albertans continuing to do their part and follow provincial public health measures.

As part of the Stage 2 reopening, the City is using a phased approach to reopen recreation facilities, amenities, programs and services with provincial health measures in place for masking, physical distancing, and limited capacity
