Intermediate First Aid

The 16-hour Lifesaving Intermediate First Aid (IFA) course provides comprehensive training, covering all aspects of first aid and CPR - C including using an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). This course is for those who want an in-depth understanding of first aid such as: legal aspects, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, abdominal and chest injuries, burns, and medical. This course is approved by Alberta Workplace Health and Safety. Successful candidates receive both Lifesaving Intermediate First Aid and CPR C certification. 100% attendance is required.
