Learn to Skate Level 2
This unparented class, located at Jarome Iginla Arena (66 Hebert Road), is designed for children who are able to get up and move on their own. They will continue to practice balance, posture, skating the width of the ice, skating and lifting one foot up and 2-foot glides. Your child will be introduced to moving backwards and the 2-foot stop. CSA approved hockey helmets, skates, snow pants and mitts/gloves are mandatory for children. Full cages are highly recommended for all children.
