Grassroots PLAY Hockey
Has your child always wanted to try playing ice hockey? Are they independent on their skates and ready to take on the challenge of learning the basic skills in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment? Then look no further than this popular program where kids will learn progressive FUNdamental beginner hockey skills like shooting and stickhandling all while strengthening their skating skills! No need to buy all the equipment yet as all the Participants will need is hockey skates, a CSA approved hockey helmet with a full cage or visor, hockey gloves, and a hockey stick. Children must be able to independently stand up on their skates and comfortably move around the ice to participate in this program. This program is located at Jarome Iginla Arena (66 Hebert Road).
